How It Works

1

Submit Contact Form/Discovery Call

Head to the contact form at the bottom of the page, fill it out, and then we will reach out to you via phone or email. When we reach out, we will provide you with our intake paperwork and get something scheduled.

2

Evaluation

An evaluation of feeding (breast, bottle, and/or table foods) will take place in your home and lasts 1.5 hours. You will receive guidance and education on things to do at home and we will determine if ongoing treatment sessions are needed.

3

Treatment

If we determine that ongoing treatment is needed, we will work together to make goals for your child. Most children require weekly or every-other-week therapy sessions. We will work hard until your child's skills are functional and they are ready for discharge!

About

ABOUT

PEDIATRICS

Hi! I am so glad you are here. My name is Kelsey Norris, M.A., CCC-SLP, CLC and I am the owner of Nourish Pediatrics. I received my BA from the University of Northern Iowa and my MA from the University of Iowa. After several years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, I also trained to become a Certified Lactation Counselor. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, Certified Lactation Counselor, and parent of two toddlers, I view pediatric feeding and lactation through a unique lens. I know all too well how difficult it can be to breastfeed your baby or get your toddler to try new foods. My expertise means that I get to walk alongside your family and problem-solve some of the most complex feeding situations. My services are family-centered, trauma-informed, and always in line with the most up to date evidence. I specialize in lactation, bottle-feeding, tethered oral tissues, picky eating, and feeding for medically complex children.

My ultimate goal is to provide individualized services to help all families reach their feeding goals and make mealtimes positive for everyone.

Happy Families

"My baby was born with lip and tongue ties, and although I nursed my older child for 18 months, I was struggling this time around. Kelsey helped me understand the importance of  post-revision exercises and gave me a tip that changed everything- the biological nursing position! Suddenly, my baby was able to nurse more easily, without gagging and with far less gas. She also shared important wisdom for engagement and clogged ducts- ice, not heat! Kelsey is a great resource and I am so grateful for her advice.
